 Conservatory graduated with honors both in piano performance and in Musical Disciplines, he studied with teachers such as M. Grazia Bellocchio, Sergei Dorensky, Paolo Bordoni and Benedetto Lupo.

He refined his technique and interpretation of chamber music at the Accademia Nazionale di S.Cecilia in Rome with Rocco Filippini and at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena with Alexander Lonquich.

 

 He was awarded in many national competitions; he performed as a soloist or in chamber music ensembles for important festivals in Italy and abroad (Società dei Concerti and Milano Classica, Emilia Romagna Festival, Gorizia Classica, Amici della Musica di Lucca, Mendelssohn Festival, Festival Plateaux in Vitry sur Seine), playing in many concert halls such as: Teatro Ponchielli (Cremona), Teatro Comunale (Ferrara), Auditorium Parco della Musica (Rome), Auditorium Gaber of the Pirelli Tower and Palazzina Liberty (Milan), Sala Piatti (Bergamo), Théatre entre des Bords de Marne, Maison Natale de Claude Debussy and Jean Vilar-Vitry sur Seine (Paris), Théatre du Merlan Scène Nationale (Marseilles), Théatre Balsamine (Brussels), Théatre Pole Sud (Strasbourg) and the Maple Hall (Osaka, Japan).

 

From 2003 to 2008 he worked with the Florentine choreographer and dancer Virgilio Sieni, as they toured in Italy and abroad with two of his most important performances: "Solo Goldberg improvisation" and "Sonate Bach", reaching critical and audience success for the Goldberg Variations and the Sonaten für Viola da Gamba und Klavier by J.S.Bach.

 

He plays with particular attention to the repertoire of the Twentieth century: he performed the piano works by Gyorgy Ligeti in 2003, 2006 and 2007 and he collaborated with Christophe Desjardins (first viola of the Ensemble Intercontemporain) in a project for the Show “Moz-art-box” in Portici (Naples), with works by Turina, Villa Rojo, Morton Feldmann.

 

In April 2013, he performed the Piano Sonata by Luciano Berio at the Museo del Novecento in Milan, for the tenth anniversary of the death of the Italian composer.

 

In 2007 he formed a Duo with the violinist Lena Yokoyama, obtaining audience success and critical appreciation.

 

He plays  piano accompaniment for the instrument classes at Milan Conservatory and at Como Conservatory and he teaches piano at the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato “G.Donizetti” in Bergamo.

 

In 2012 he founded, together with Lena Yokoyama and Alessandro Copia, the Trio Kanon, ensemble that’s studying with the Trio di Parma at the International Chamber Music Academy  in Duino.
